Living with Art ‘ArtWorks - The Path to Becoming an Artist’ Final Exhibition |
‘ArtWorks - The Path to Becoming an Artist’ is a 32-month project funded by the Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities of the Social Welfare Department. It pairs professional artists with emerging artists with disabilities. The programme provided tailored development advice and a structured learning plan to help participants cultivate their unique artistic style and expand their creative horizons.
The culmination of this journey is the final exhibition titled ‘Living with Art,’ which will be held at the Pao Galleries of the Hong Kong Arts Centre from 26 February to 8 March, showcasing an array of media, including digital illustration, drama, ink art, painting, photography, and sand painting. Each of the fifteen sets of works tells a powerful story, offering a glimpse into the unique journeys and perspectives of the artists.

‘A Bit More than Arts Festival 2026: Loading…’ See You Again Next Year! |
‘A Bit More than Arts Festival,’ the flagship annual art festival of the ‘Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant - Inclusive Arts Project,’ successfully took place from 24 January to 3 February 2026, at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre. This year, the festival featured an exhibition titled ‘Loading...,’ showcasing artworks created by participants of the ‘Artlink’ programme based in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Through exchange and dialogue, these participants developed a diverse array of engaging pieces centred around the theme of ‘games,’ collectively establishing an interactive and inclusive artistic space.
Visitors were invited to experience the connections and joy fostered by the game-inspired artworks. They participated actively, leaving their own artistic imprints and contributing to the completion of the exhibition.
Participants in institutional and public guided tours also played a role in creating one of the featured works—the spinning top. Their creativity was showcased, and the activity brought immense enjoyment. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the artists involved for their enthusiastic contributions and remarkable creations, as well as to every visitor whose presence enriched the festival with vibrant colours.

‘Good Days 2.0 Join the Fun’ Elderly Photography Exhibition Came to a Successful End |
Sponsored by the Vera Ruttonjee Desai Charitable Fund, the ‘Good Days 2.0 Join the Fun’ Elderly Photography Exhibition successfully concluded on 21 January. The 9-day exhibition, held at the Anita Chan Lai-ling Gallery in the Fringe Club, attracted over 800 visitors. This year, the photographs were incorporated into a ‘tic-tac-toe’ game installation, featuring photography exercises designed by the tutors. The audience had the opportunity to roll the dice and engage with the exercises while having fun with friends. Additionally, there was a song request corner where attendees could enjoy a slideshow of photographs accompanied by classic songs selected by the young-olds, evoking shared memories.
Nine accessible tours were organised for participating elderly centres and rehabilitation organisations. These tours were led by elderly docents who had completed docent training workshops organised under the same project, embodying the project’s spirit of ‘keep learning and keep contributing in one’s golden years.’

Art Day organised for the ‘Oi! Daily: Good Store’ centred around the theme of winter solar terms, featured three workshops led by young-old ambassadors. In the ‘Storytelling Guided Tour,’ attendees enjoyed a guided exploration of the organic garden and received instant photo keepsakes. During the ‘A Sip of Wellness’ session, participants learned how to brew seasonal ‘Ying Warm and Fortune Tea’ while savouring nourishing flavours. The ‘Seasonal Paper Cutting Programme’ allowed attendees to create paper-cutting postcards featuring seasonal plants, giving them an opportunity to experience the art of paper cutting and learn about the culinary and therapeutic properties of these plants. This series of activities aimed to help participants explore the connection between the arts and daily life.
Join us for the next Art Day in April, where we will focus on the theme of spring solar terms.
