‘ArtWorks - The Path to Becoming an Artist’ is a 32-month project funded by the Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities of the Social Welfare Department. It pairs professional artists with emerging artists with disabilities. The programme provided tailored development advice and a structured learning plan to help participants cultivate their unique artistic style and expand their creative horizons.
The second part of the final exhibition titled ‘Living with Art’ opens today and will run until 17 May at the L0 Gallery of the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre. This exhibition features a diverse range of media, including digital illustration, drama, ink art, painting, photography, and sand painting. Each of the fifteen sets of works tells a powerful story, offering a glimpse into the unique journeys and perspectives of the artists. Since its opening, the exhibition has welcomed over 20 groups. Guided by our docents, visitors have been taken on an in-depth exploration of the artists’ creative journeys. Through various art experience activities, attendees have gained a deeper understanding of the artists’ distinct creative concepts and techniques.

Art Workshops from May to August 2026 Now Open for Application |
Some memories come from a game, a rhythm, an image, or a traditional craft deeply rooted in local culture. Often hidden in the details of everyday life, these memories can be revisited, reflected upon, and shared through the arts.
With ‘Memory’ as the creative theme for 2025 to 2028, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant - Inclusive Arts Project aims to explore how personal and collective memories can be transformed through artistic expression. From May to August, a diverse range of workshops will be organised, including theatre, percussion ensemble training, drawing, creative weaving, and blown sugar art. Through various art forms, participants are invited to find inspiration in everyday life, transform their memories into creative works, and allow creativity to become a new form of memory. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

‘Artistry in Clay’ Spring Ceramics Market |
The ‘Artistry in Clay’ Advanced Ceramics Training Scheme provides participating graduates with special needs the opportunity for 50 hours of professional ceramic training, along with a platform to showcase their work, which aids in their career development. From April 3 to 5 April, 2026, participants from the scheme took part in a creative handicraft market held at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre. There, they displayed and sold a diverse range of handcrafted ceramic items, including functional wares and decorative pieces, showcasing the artistic skills they developed through the training scheme. Building on their previous market experiences, the participants displayed greater confidence in sharing their creative processes with the public. ‘All of Us, All Ways’ The Possibilities of Arts Accessibility |
The live performances for the 8th edition of ‘No Limits’ have officially concluded with success. As a Strategic Supporting Partner, ADAHK went beyond providing Arts Accessibility services this year—we engaged in exciting experimentation. In the performance ‘Zer-Brech-Lich,’ Audio Description was creatively integrated. Audio Describer took on the role of an open mic ‘hidden character,’ interacting with the other performers. The entire audience listened to the Audio Description together, embarking on a shared musical dance theatre journey.
Additionally, four of this year’s ‘No Limits’ films are now available for online screening, featuring Audio Description in both Cantonese and English, as well as Accessible Captions in Chinese and English. The Audio Describers serve as the audience’s ‘navigator,’ ensuring that everyone, including the visually impaired community, can enjoy internationally acclaimed programmes anytime, anywhere.
