As one of the art projects promoted by ADAHK, the inclusive theatre aims to break down barriers between people with and without disabilities through theatrical performances. It also incorporates Arts Accessibility Services such as Theatrical Interpretation, Audio Description and Accessible Captions, allowing everyone to enjoy the show without barriers.
This year, we are excited to bring together a group of award-winning artists from ‘Cross All Borders’ to present a new inclusive theatre performance titled ‘Spotlight on Your Voice’ Black Box Production. This production will showcase the talents of artists with disabilities alongside professional theatre practitioners, fostering collaboration in creative expression.
Free tickets for the performance are now available for public registration on art-mate. We look forward to seeing you there!
On its last legs, the Sunset Inn has one final shot at survival—a re-staging of its signature show, At Sunrise.
For the stage, they strive for more. For the stage, they give it their all... At Sunrise – The Final Chapter: Spotlight on Your Voice Who takes the spotlight? Come to the show and see for yourself.

Arts Accessibility Scheme, ADAHK’s Artist with Disability Jessica Chiu Participated in The 46th Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Award Concert |
The 46th Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Award Concert, themed ‘Trendy Melodies, Love Always,’ celebrated local pop music while promoting a message of care and inclusion. This year marked the first time Theatrical Interpretation was introduced, making it the first local pop music awards show to offer Arts Accessibility services. The Arts Accessibility Scheme from ADAHK meticulously orchestrated professional services, with Theatrical Interpreters transforming various Cantonese pop songs into expressive Sign Language and movements, ensuring that Deaf audience members could fully enjoy this significant music event.
ADAHK’s social enterprise, ADAM, also participated by inviting Jessica Chiu, ADAHK’s sand painter, to perform sand painting as the opening act. She collaborated with the Southern District Children’s Choir to create a moving and heartfelt start to the evening. Chiu brought stories to life with her fingertips, demonstrating once again that art has no boundaries.
The team at ADAHK sincerely thanks RTHK for the opportunity to showcase Arts Accessibility and inclusive art on a mainstream stage.

【ADAM】Mural Paintings at Causeway Bay Fashion Walk |
Hang Lung Properties has invited artists with disabilities, Apple Tong and Mary Cheng from ADAHK, to create two stunning large-scale murals at Art Lane @ Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay.
Drawing from their personal experiences and the evolving story of Causeway Bay, the artists infused their murals with vibrant energy and rich cultural references, bringing a fresh artistic vibe to this iconic Hong Kong location.
Apple’s mural captures the past and transformation of Causeway Bay, featuring classic landmarks evoking a sense of nostalgia for the community’s earlier days. Meanwhile, Mary’s creation is a vibrant mural inspired by three different sports, bursting with strong colour contrasts and dynamic movement. Apple and Mary not only showcase boundless creativity but also demonstrate how inclusive art can connect communities and inspire the public. 【Arts Accessibility Scheme】 Theatrical Interpretation Sharing Sessions |
‘Do you know how Deaf audiences enjoy performances?’ This is a question that the team from ADAHK often asks during their Theatrical Interpretation sharing sessions at various primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong.
During these sessions, our Deaf Theatrical Interpretation (TI) students showcase their skills by using lively expressions and movements alongside Sign Language. The audience gains a clear understanding of the difference between Theatrical Interpretation and Sign Interpretation, and they learn how these elements help Deaf audiences better understand and engage with the performance.
We also hosted an interactive session where everyone learned to sign different words in Hong Kong Sign Language and cheered for our Deaf TI students!
