To promote a stronger connection between people with disabilities and the community, ADAHK has transformed a section of the Jockey Club Inclusive Arts Studio into an inclusive art space. In the upcoming solo exhibitions, two artists with disabilities, Isaac Chan and Karen Chan, will take centre stage. Isaac, a lover of sketching with ballpoint pens and markers, will take you on a journey through his captivating drawings of mushrooms, family, and architecture, offering a glimpse into his inner world. Meanwhile, Karen will showcase her unique visual perspective as she presents her photography works that display her remarkable ability to experience the world in a truly special way.

【JCIAS】October’s Have Fun with Arts Touch. Feel. Paint! Workshop |
Sight is undeniably crucial in the realm of visual arts, but the sense of touch also holds a significant place in the realm of creativity and artistic expression. The use of different brushes, paints, and materials can enhance the richness of the textures and layers of a piece of art. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore the creation of art primarily through the sense of touch. This unique approach allows for creating pieces that may never have been imagined if relying solely on sight. Registration is now open until 20 October at 6 pm, so don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!

ADAHK hosted its very first charity golf tournament on the stunning Eden Course at the Hong Kong Golf Club on 26 August 2024. It was more than just a day of golf; it was a chance for players to experience the incredible talents of ADAHK’s artists with disabilities. The event drew over 70 players and guests, all coming together to showcase their golf skills and, more importantly, to raise funds in support of people with disabilities in the arts. The day was filled with memorable moments, including a captivating violin performance by artist with disability, Ding Yijie, which left the audience in awe. Additionally, Hui Pui-sin, another artist, created unique Golf Caricatures on-site, adding a special touch to the event.
