Artist Gathering Successfully Concluded |
ADAHK successfully held its artist gathering at Quarryside in early March. The event featured a photography workshop titled ‘Painting by God,’ led by ADAHK’s committee member and renowned artist, anothermountainman (Stanley Wong). He guided participating artists into nature, encouraging them to capture the scenery around them through their lenses and discover the beauty in everyday life.
ADAHK has always been dedicated to nurturing artists with disabilities. This gathering provided artists with inspiration through both exchange and hands-on experience, allowing them to spark new creativity at the intersection of art and nature. We will continue to curate diverse activities that support artists in exploring new possibilities across various artistic fields.

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Presents: National Development and Achievements Series ‘Approaching Perfection: The Intersection of Sports and Science’ Accessible Guided TourPhoto |
From January to February, 10 Accessible Guided Tours were conducted for the exhibition, ‘Bank of China (Hong Kong) Presents: National Development and Achievements Series – Approaching Perfection: The Intersection of Sports and Science’ at the Hong Kong Science Museum. These tours aimed to introduce participants with disabilities, including people with visual impairments, the Deaf or hard-of-hearing, and those with intellectual and physical disabilities, to the techniques used by athletes and to uncover the scientific principles behind their sports achievements.
The Accessible Guided Tours included tactile props alongside the exhibition’s interactive exhibits, allowing participants to learn about the scientific principles underlying sports through multiple senses. For instance, at the ‘Spin and Speed Pass’ station, participants had the opportunity to try a dive pass, which helped them experience the physics of a spinning rugby ball. At the ‘Spike Height Experience’ station, they explored the optimal spike heights for beach volleyball.
