‘A Fantastical World Of Colour’ The Solo Exhibition by ADAHK’s Artist, Aaron Ngow |
ADAM, the social enterprise of ADAHK, is pleased to present ‘A Fantastical World of Colour,’ the debut solo exhibition by ADAHK’s artist Aaron Ngow. Featuring a collection of works inspired by forests, trees, skies, and natural landscapes, the exhibition invites viewers into a vibrant world that moves between reality and imagination. Aaron’s series reimagines nature through bold and expressive colours, creating an immersive visual journey filled with emotion and imagination. Some works draw inspiration from the imagery of the ‘Jewelled Trees’ described in the Infinite Life Sutra. For Aaron, every colour holds equal value and expressive power. Through the coexistence, contrast, and harmony of colours, his works become a visual reflection on diversity, inclusion, and coexistence. We warmly invite you to step into Aaron’s fantastical world and experience the endless possibilities woven through colour.
Exhibition Period: 10 July – 21 August Opening Reception: 10 July (Friday), 3:00 – 5:00 PM Address: ADAM Art Space, Unit 10B, Gold Swan Commercial Building, 438–444 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay

‘The Arts in the Tree Hole’ Window Swap: Hey, What Do You See? |
In collaboration with five member organisations of DAiSY (Disability Arts in Surrey)—The Grange, Art Venture, Halow, Creative Response, and Bloomin’ Arts—participants from both DAiSY and JCIAS’s arts exchange programme, ‘Artlink,’ created a series of artworks inspired by the theme ‘Windows to the World.’ A window serves as a connection to the outside world while also representing an invisible boundary separating us from it. Artists from both cities have shared their unique interpretations and visions of their surroundings, transforming windows into bridges that span geographical borders and connect hearts.

‘The Sounds of Moments and Movements: An Introduction to Audio Description Workshop’ At The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts |
ADAHK’s Arts Accessibility Services team conducted a tailored Audio Description workshop for students at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on 30 May. This workshop brought together students from the School of Drama, School of Film and Television, and the School of Theatre and Entertainment Arts, introducing them to the application of Audio Description in performing arts, film, and visual arts for the first time. After receiving foundational training, the students were tasked with writing Audio Description scripts for selected excerpts from the performing and visual arts. They presented their draft scripts, and two consultants, Ah Yuk and Jacky, provided immediate feedback. In the post-class questionnaire, students expressed their gratitude for the consultants’ direct commentary, which helped them recognise their weaknesses and better understand users’ needs. Since signing a Memorandum of Understanding in 2019, ADAHK and the Academy have closely collaborated to promote inclusive arts. This workshop is expected to offer students a new adventure and present challenges that will enrich Hong Kong’s performing arts scene.
